SKB believes wholeheartedly in the recycling and processing of waste. SKB Recycling’s system allows for the efficient, economical recovery of numerous resources and diverting valuable materials from the waste stream saves precious landfill airspace and reduces the need for virgin resources. Materials such as corrugated cardboard, concrete, brick, vinyl siding, ferrous and non-ferrous metals are separated from the waste stream and recycled. Shingle waste is processed and ground for use as recycled material in asphalt road projects. Separated wood is either recycled or used as a biomass fuel product. All residual waste is disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner. See the information on this page to find out more about the materials we recycle.
